The Tsarist Empire of Gishabrun (ARCHIVE)

Micronations

Everybody in the world knows of the major and universally recognized countries, such as China, Brazil, Russia, Australia, Canada, France, etc. These nations are almost fully autonomous and separate from other nations, and have unique cultures, institutions and groups of people that make these countries different from all others. There is also another group of nations (such as Taiwan, Abkhazia, Western Sahara, Tatarstan, etc.) in which the countries function as autonomous entities and have their own government and culture but are not recognised by most or all nations because of a political dispute, and these are considered a part of a larger nation. The third group of countries consists of nations founded to by individuals or small groups to go against laws or decisions made by the larger country, to experiment with a new political system, or just to give the group or individual perceived autonomy. The countries in the last group are called "Micronations". The Tsarist Empire of Gishabrun is such a nation, however, it hopes to rise to the rank of at least an unrecognised entity.

The Montevideo Convention

The Montevideo Convention was a treaty signed at Montevideo, Uruguay, on the 26th of December, 1933, that stated the four qualifications that an entity must possess to be a formal nation, which are:

-A permanent population

-A defined territory

-A government

-Capacity to enter into relations with the other states

The Tsarist Empire of Gishabrun has all of these qualifications.
