The Tsarist Empire of Gishabrun (ARCHIVE)

Other than the Imperial Constitution, the Tsarist Empire of Gishabrun has many laws. They are:

 

1. Annina Kravat Oblast Annexation Act (July 26, 2010)


Article 1: Upon signing this treaty, the Principality of Annina Kravat will formally become a part of the Tsarist Empire of Gishabrun.

Article 2: Upon joining Gishabrun, the Principality of Annina Kravat will become a part of Kravat Oblast, and will be obliged to follow any and all laws and regulations of Gishabrun, being completely under Gishabruni control from this point forth.

Article 3: Upon joining Gishabrun, all citizens of Annina Kravat will become Gishabruni citizens, specifically Kravat Oblastian citizens, and will be considered as such.

Article 4: If Annina Kravat wishes to break the regulations of this treaty and to secede from Gishabrun, they must do so peacefully and inform the Council of Gishabrun of its’ intents, which may or may not allow Annina Kravat to secede in this way.

Article 5: If condition 4 is not implemented upon Annina Kravatian secession, or if it secedes after The Council does not permit it to do so; it will be considered illegal under the Ultramaar Convention, and those associated with this illegal secession will be considered guilty of High Treason under the Treason Act (2011).

Article 6: Any other territorial entities that wish to secede from Gishabrun must do so as outlined in Articles 4 and 5 of this Act, replacing "Annina Kravat" and "Annina Kravatian" with the name of the entity in question.


2. Tobacco Act (September 5, 2010):

Article 1: The trade, growth, and use of the Tobacco plant (Nicotina sp.) and any of its’ derived products by any human being is illegal everywhere in the Tsarist Empire of Gishabrun (excepting krais, in which non-citizens may use Tobacco as they wish, while citizens must not use it anywhere, including krais).



3. Gishabruni Navy Creation Act (July, 2010):

Article 1: Gishabrun shall hereby have a Navy, to defend the Empire by water, named the Gishabrun Imperial Navy (GIN)

Article 2: Any citizen without a criminal record may join this Navy, as long as they own a boat (that can transport at least 1 (one) human being) that is registered in the Navy.


 

4. Peerage Creation Act (August 13, 2010):

Article 1: The Gishabruni Rating Committee (GRC) shall hereby be established, seperate from the Gishabrunian Government

Article 2: Every Gishabruni citizen shall be rated by the GRC according to their contributions to the Empire

Article 3: Each citizen will recieve a title from the list in Article 4, according to their meritocratic rating, using the formula: x/y*100, x being the rating of said citizen and y being the rating of the Tsar at that moment in time if x=a positive number, and being the rating of the Enemy of the State at that moment if x=a negative number

Article 4: The list of titles shall be as follows:

Tsar-Tsaritsa = 100
Knyaz-Knyagina = 90
Prince-Princess = 80
Boyarin-Boyarina = 70
Khan-Khatun = 60
Marquis-Marquise = 50
Honourable Subject = 40
Sir-Madam = 30
Master = 20
Comrade = 10
(Peasant) = 0
Hooligan = -25
Scumbag = -50
Traitor = -75
Enemy of the State = -100

All citizens will recieve prefixes to their names as shown above, except peasants.

Article 5: Every year on June 23rd, all ratings except for those of 1 or 0 rating are to be halved, with 1 half of the former ratings to be converted in Brun (with 5 Meritocratic Points = 1 Gil)

 

5. LOB Creation Act (August 16, 2010):

Article 1: As of today, the Logocratic Organisation for Security (LOB) shall be created.

Article 2: The LOB shall be the Information and Secret Agency of the Tsarist Empire of Gishabrun

Article 3: The LOB shall obtain, collect, and report on all information possible to the Elite Duma.

Article 4: The leader of the Elite Duma shall be appointed by the Elite Duma, and will be called the Supreme LOBster.

Article 5: The LOB may pass laws and govern itself as it wishes, as long as those laws do not come in conflict with the national laws already in place.


6. National Dish Act (November 17, 2010):

The National dish of Gishabrun is French Toast.

7. English Denonym Change Act (December 24, 2010):

From this day forth, the denonym for Gishabrun shall be Gishabruni in English, and not Gishabrunian as previously used (with the exception of when used to describe our Government, in English it shall remain "Gishabrunian Government").


8. National Anthem Creation Act (January 25, 2011):

Article 1: The National Anthem of the Tsarist Empire of Gishabrun will be “Hail the Tsar”.

Article 2: The anthem will be used for all purposes during times of peace, except when concerning the military.

Article 3: The anthem to be used for military and wartime purposes will be “Sacred War”


9. Treason Act (January 27, 2011):

Article 1: If a Gishabruni attacks a member of the Elite Duma, it will be high treason, and the person can be tried in court.

Article 2: Similarily, if a member of any of the lower houses in The Council is attacked by a citizen, it will be treason and they can also be tried in court.

Article 3: The breaking of any Gishabruni law is also considered treason, while breaking the Constitution or the Ultramaar Convention is High Treason.

Article 4: Punishment for treason will consist of a ban from any and all positions for a year, while the punishment for high treason is being stripped of citizenship, positions, Brun and Gil (if applicable), and torture and/or public ridicule if deemed severe by the Elite Duma.

 

 

10. Elite Duma Abstaining Act (2010):

Abstaining by members of the Elite Duma when voting on an Elite Duma matter is illegal.


11. Parks Act (2010):

There will be three types of park areas in Gishabrun:

I. Parks: Areas of public greenery in which citizens may do whatever they wish (as long as they abide by the other Gishabruni laws).

II. National Parks: Entry is not forbidden to average citizens, yet straying from the set path is illegal (unless with permission from the Elite Duma), as well as

III. Nature Reserves: Entry by average citizens is strictly forbidden, except by permission from the Elite Duma.


12. National Sport Creation Act (2010):

The Official Sport of Gishabrun shall be chess, with rules as defined by the IMCF.


13: Law Recording Act (February 6, 2011)

All laws passed by the Council of Gishabrun must be written down.

 

14: The Ultramaar Convention (February 7, 2011)

 

Preamble: The Elite Duma elects to use these methods at all times unless the Elite Duma elects for this act to become invalid. This act will be utilized during times of war and internal conflict.

 

Article 1: If a situation arises in which another micronation declares or threatens to declare war on the Tsarist Empire of Gishabrun or any of its allies which are within a close range of Gishabruni land, Gishabrun, as represented by HIM the Tsar, must first negotiate with the opposing micronation as equals. The negotiation must, if successful end the conflict for at least four (4) months from the date of the negotiations. If this is not achieved, Gishabrun will declare all-out war on the micronation in question.

 

Article 2: If a situation arises in which a citizen or group of citizens of the Tsarist Empire is caught or reported committing rebellious acts, either violent or otherwise, they will be dealt with as such:

 

          Statement 1: If said rebel or rebel group has rebelled in a way that has not        broken any Gishabruni laws, the rebel(s) must enter into a state of    negotiations with the Gishabrunian Government, with the Gishabrunian       Government speaking from a position of superiority.

 

          Statement 2: If said rebel or rebel group has broken any Gishabruni or    Maccragian laws, or refuses to negotiate as stated in the previous statement,     the rebel or rebel group will be stripped of their citizenship, and any     positions or titles they may have.

 

          Statement 3: If the rebel or rebel group continues actions against the Tsarist      Empire of Gishabrun, Gishabrun will declare a state of war and said war    against the rebel or group, will continue unless either side of the conflict is   destroyed.

 

Article 3: If a situation arises in which a person or group without a citizenship of a micronation attack(s) or threaten(s) the Tsarist Empire of Gishabrun or any of its' citizens, the Council of Gishabrun will take action in the manner described in Article 1.

 

Article 4: Either party may designate an amount of people to be medics.

         

          Statement 1: These medics must not fight during the battle, unless they are           physically attacked.

 

          Statement 2: Neither party must attack these medics in any way, shape or         form.

 

          Statement 3: Said medics must evacuate (and treat, if possible) injured or          dead individuals from any and all parties from the battlefield.

 

          Statement 4: To distinguish these medics from normal combat personnel,          each medic must wear a white armband with a blue rhombus. If a medic          does not wear this symbol, they may be attacked on sight.

 

Article 5: Persons deemed wounded by themselves and/or a medic, or those deemed dead by a medic must be evacuated from the designated battlefield by any medic(s).

 

Article 6: Capturing members of any of the other partie(s) is illegal, unless said person has breached this convention.

 

          Statement 1: This person(s) will be held in custody until a trial may be held,     with members of both parties can attend.

 

          Statement 2: When in custody, the capturing partie(s) may not deprive the           prisoner(s) of any rights and liberties stated within the Universal Declaration    of Human Rights.

 

Article 7: Citizens must not be attacked by armed personnel, unless this citizen(s) poses a physical threat to the livelihood of any member(s) of any party.

 

          Statement 1: This citizen(s), if taken hostage by any party, must be treated in           accordance with Article 6.

 

Article 8: Members of any party may surrender and become essentially the same as civilians.

 

Statement 1: To surrender, one must either leave the designated battlefield (if applicable), or cross their arms in front of their chest.

 

Statement 2: They must be treated as civilians, as defined in Article 7.

 

Article 9: This convention must not be modified, deemed invalid, or replaced during any of the situations described in this Convention.

15: Joke Party Act (19 February 2012):

All Political Parties classified as "Joke Parties" (without a true ideology and purpose), will be disbanded, and similar parties prevented from being created. Government members that belonged to such parties will be forced to create a party with an actual ideology or join another such party.

 

16. Elite Duma Representatives Act (2010):

No person may hold more than one (1) position in the Elite Duma.

 

17. Territories Act (May 2011):

Article 1: All federal subjects must be deemed "mappable" by the House of Heads, so as to create a complete and accurate map of Gishabruni land.

Article 2: Those citizens that are not accepted as Oblastian or Autonomous Subjects due to Article 1 or because they live on a foreign micronation's land, must become Overseas Subjects.

 

18. National Flower Act (May 2011):

The national flower of Gishabrun is "Bleeding Hearts".

 

19. Maroon Guard Transferring Act (May 2011):

The Maroon Guard is to become part of the Gishabruni Army. 


20. Failed Laws Act (19 February 2012):

Article 1: If a law passes within the Council of Gishabrun, its members must wait at least four (4) months to propose to  heavily modify or deem invalid said law.

Article 2: If a law is rejected within the Council of Gishabrun, its members must wait at least four (4) months to propose to pass said law again.

Article 3: If a law is rejected or passed in the Council of Gishabrun, but one member wishes to change their vote, the articles 1 and 2 of this law will not apply.


21. Discriminatory Parties Act (19 February 2012):

Political parties that support discriminatory or anti-Gishabruni ideals are illegal to create or be a part of.
