Yesterday, the Oblastian Assembly passed the Official Language Limitation Act (2011), which states that Gishabrun's official Languages will be limited to those that are spoken by four (4) citizens or more (into which all media and announcements must be translated), at the moment English, Russian, and Azerbaijani. Translations of public media into the other, recognised regional languages (currently Mandarin, French, Hebrew, and Serbian) is encouraged by the Gishabrunian Government, but is not mandatory.
