The Tsarist Empire of Gishabrun (ARCHIVE)

Belated News

May 16, 2011

Since the previous episode of Gishabruni News was released, four main events have occurred.

The first event were the Elite Duma elections results. The positions which could be acquired during the elections were the Consul of the Oblasts, the High Chief of the Clans, the Most High Academe of the KIOWAK, and the Chief Executive of Compass Industries. The results were as follows:

Consul of the Oblasts:

  1. Randomguy – 6 votes (66.666…%)

  2. Nathan – 3 votes (33.333…%)

High Chief of the Clans:

  1. George – 10 votes (66.666…%)

  2. Randomguy – 5 votes (33.333…%)

Most High Academe of the KIOWAK:

  1. Cyril I – 1 vote (100%) (Due to the large number of candidates, only 1 person was eligible to vote)

  2. Sovetus, George, Orc of Moria, Randomguy – 0 votes (0%)

 Chief Executive of Compass Industries:

  1. Sovetus – 3 votes (75%)

  2. Anna – 1 vote (25%)

The second event was the division of Kravat Oblast into Kravat Oblast (formerly the Commune of Kravat) and The Stig Oblast (formerly the Commune of The Stig). The Ambassadorship of the new The Stig Oblast was granted to Jeremy.

The third event was the citizenship reform, as authorised by the Elite Duma. There are now three types of Gishabruni citizens:

  1. Oblastian Subjects – citizens residing in oblasts, may participate in oblastian events such as local elections or the Oblastian Assembly.

  2. Autonomous Subjects – citizens residing in Autonomous Regions , may participate in Autonomous-Regional activities, if applicable.

  3. Overseas Subjects – citizens not residing on Gishabruni land due to their oblast or Autonomous Region being refused by the House of Heads as per the Territories Act (2011) (which states that land must only become a part of Gishabrun if it is deemed mappable by the Department of Geography of the KIOWAK), which would otherwise have been accepted.

The fourth and final event, on the 16th of May, 2011, the Tsar of Gishabrun reformed the Peerage Creation Act (August 13, 2010), from being a list of titles to award by the Tsar or Elite Duma to anybody alive, to being a list of titles automatically granted to Gishabruni citizens once they reach a certain percentage of Meritocratic points as compared to the highest or lowest-ranked citizen. If the citizen’s rating is 0 or above, their rating is compared as such: x/y as a percent, x being the meritocratic rating of the person involved, and y being the meritocratic rating of the Tsar – the highest at that moment in time. For example, if x=100 and y=200, this person has a percent rating of 50, which may be found on the chart below. However, if said person’s rating is below 0, y is replaced by the lowest meritocratic rating at the time. The table is as follows:

Tsar-Tsaritsa = 100

Knyaz-Knyagina = 90

Prince-Princess = 80

Boyarin-Boyarina = 70

Khan-Khatun = 60

Marquis-Marquise = 50

Honourable Subject = 40

Sir-Madam = 30

Master = 20

Comrade = 10

(Peasant) = 0

Hooligan = -25

Scumbag = -50

Traitor = -75

Enemy of the State = -100
